A fragrance is made of perfume extract, alcohol, and water. The quantity of extract contained determines the type of fragrance. Concentrations are as follows: 16% to 25% is “Parfum,” 11% to 15% is "Eau de Parfum," 6% to 10% is "Eau de Toilette," and 3% to 4% is "Eau de Cologne."
